How to Request Account and Data Deletion

To request deletion of your account and all associated data for the OUTR Training & Placement app, please follow these steps:

Send an Email Request

Email: placement@outr.ac.in
Subject: Account Deletion Request – OUTR Training & Placement App

Include in your email:

  • Your full name
  • Registered email address (used in the app)
  • Any relevant student or user ID (if applicable)
  • A clear statement requesting deletion of your account and all associated data

Confirmation

You will receive a confirmation email once your request is received.

The OUTR Placement Cell will process your request and notify you when your account and data have been deleted.

Who Handles Account Deletion

All account deletion requests and data management are handled exclusively by the Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUTR) Placement Cell.

The developer, Jagadish Prasad Pattanaik, does not access, process, or manage any user data and is not responsible for handling account deletion or any data-related requests.

For all data privacy and account management matters, users should contact OUTR directly at the email provided above.

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon receiving your request, the following data will be permanently deleted:

  • Account information (name, email, student details, academic information)
  • Usage data and activity logs associated with your account
  • Any other personally identifiable information provided through the app

Data Retention

No data will be retained after deletion, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate administrative purposes (e.g., compliance, fraud prevention).

In such cases, you will be informed of the specific data retained and the retention period.

What Data May Be Retained (If Applicable)

  • Data required to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes
  • Data necessary for security, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance

Any retained data will be securely stored and deleted as soon as the retention period expires.
